General Terms and Conditions

 

1. general / scope of application

The following General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter referred to as "GTC") of VT SWITZERLAND AG govern the rights and obligations in the relationship between VT SWITZERLAND AG and its customers with regard to all contracts concluded between the parties exclusively in the online shop at www.vtshop.ch.

Deviations from these Terms and Conditions shall only be effective if confirmed in writing by VT SWITZERLAND AG.

The online shop at www.vtshop.ch is only available to Customers who have their place of residence or delivery address in Switzerland or the Principality of Liechtenstein.

 

2. registration

It is up to the customer to register on www.vtshop.ch or to place an order without registration. In any case, the customer is obliged to provide truthful personal information. VT SWITZERLAND AG reserves the right to delete customer data at any time and without giving reasons or to block a user name and password.

 

3 Offer and conclusion of contract

The offers of VT SWITZERLAND AG on the Internet represent a non-binding invitation to the Customer to order products from VT SWITZERLAND AG. On www.vtshop.ch the Customer submits a legally binding offer for the conclusion of a contract by sending his order and at the same time recognising these GTC. The contract with VT SWITZERLAND AG is concluded when VT SWITZERLAND AG accepts this offer by dispatching the ordered product to the Customer.

VT SWITZERLAND AG expressly points out that the conclusion of the contract is subject to the availability of the articles or products by our suppliers or manufacturers.

Minor deviations from the products shown in terms of colour, structure and processing of the articles are expressly reserved. Accessories and decorative items shown in product images are not part of the product range unless they are expressly included in it.

VT SWITZERLAND AG reserves all rights to all product descriptions, images, photos, text and media data on www.vtshop.ch, in particular the rights to edit and publish them.

 

4. prices

The sales prices quoted are gross prices including VAT, all prices are without guarantee, any discounts will be listed in the final order confirmation/invoice from VT SWITZERLAND AG. Prices are fixed at the time of the order. VT SWITZERLAND AG may change prices at any time without prior notice.

 

5. terms of payment

After the order has been placed, the Customer will receive an order confirmation/invoice from VT SWITZERLAND AG in which the terms of payment are listed.

 

6. delivery/shipping costs

The delivery date will be communicated to the Customer after receipt of the order. If not all products ordered are in stock, VT SWITZERLAND AG is also entitled to make partial deliveries at its own expense, insofar as this is reasonable for the Customer. VT SWITZERLAND AG reserves the right to adjust the shipping costs for larger and heavier consignments. 

 

7 Obligation of the Customer to check for defects and notification period

7.1 Obligation to inspect upon receipt of the ordered products

The customer must check all ordered products for correctness, completeness and intactness immediately upon receipt. If the Customer discovers any defects, he must notify VT SWITZERLAND AG in writing within 7 days of receipt of the products. After expiry of this period, VT SWITZERLAND AG will no longer accept any warranty claims for defects which were recognisable to the Customer on receipt of the products or which should have been recognised on careful inspection.

If a damaged parcel is delivered by post, the Customer is obliged to obtain a damage confirmation from the parcel deliverer (e.g. postal employee). All transport damage must also be reported to VT SWITZERLAND AG in writing within 7 days of delivery.

 

7.2 Notification period for subsequently occurring defects

If defects occur in a purchased product which the Customer could not have recognised at the time of receipt even with careful inspection, these defects must be reported to VT SWITZERLAND AG in writing within 7 days of their discovery.
